Meet our Orthodontic Staff

Our orthodontic team is a dynamic group of people, each with a unique character, outstanding commitment to quality, and incredible ability to serve you. Our entire staff is highly trained and dedicated to provide a superior level of orthodontic treatment, with many of our staff members having been with this practice for over 25 years. All of our orthodontic assistants are Registered Dental Assistants, an educationally based, licensed credential through the Texas State Board of Examiners. Our team regularly participates in continuing education in order to stay current with the latest treatments. They are experienced in delivering comprehensive patient care and have often been asked to share their knowledge at professional meetings. Our team is professional, respectful, and outgoing, and each of us looks forward to making your family's orthodontic experience as positive and rewarding as possible.

Clinical Staff

Amanda - RDA, Patient Care Coordinator

Amanda began working here in 2006. She is excited to be part of this great team and looks forward to seeing your great smile. She does so much behind the scenes to ensure our patients have the best possible experience. As the Patient Care Coordinator she stays in contact with our patients to ensure their experience is a positive one.

Beth - RDA, SureSmile Coordinator

Beth absolutely loves being a member of Dr. Johnson's team, and has been since 2005. She works as a chair side assistant as well as the SureSmile Coordinator. She aids in patient records and SureSmile treatment plans to ensure the best quality and efficient use of treatment time. She looks forward to meeting you and seeing your smile come through our door.

Jenna - RDA, Practice Representative

Jenna joined our team in 2006 as an orthodontic assistant. She is a versatile member of the team, with duties ranging from chair side assistant to Professional Relations Coordinator, handling marketing and P.R. for the office. She is engaged with our patients' schools, patient contests, and our community outreach programs. She enjoys making a difference one smile at a time and the family atmosphere here at Woodhill Dental Specialties.

Megan - Chair Side Assistant

Megan started in 2009 as a front office assisatant.  She was a valuable part of making us a paperless office. As of 2011, she became the newest member of our orthodontic team. She now assist Dr. Johnson at the chair side, and loves working with kids.

 

 

   

 

Melissa - RDA, Clinical Coordinator

Melissa's training in orthodontics began with her orthodontist father years ago and her loyalty to the profession has continued with Dr. Johnson since 1998. She assists Dr. Johnson chair side and her passion is making people smile. Your complete confidence can be placed in her over 20 years of experience, and it is evident when she assists you and your family.

 

Veronica - RDA, New Patient Coordinator

Veronica began her career with Dr. Johnson as a chair side assistant in 2004. She is one of the first team members you will meet on your way to creating your new smile as she is the New Patient Treatment Coordinator. She helps with compiling patient records, treatment plans, financial agreements, and assist parents and patients in helping to get their treatment started.

Mitch - Certified Laboratory Technician

Mitch has been our Certified Dental Technician specializing in orthodontics since 1999. He had an early involvement in orthodontics from the age of 15, helping his orthodontist father in his lab. He constructs retainers, appliances, mouthguards, bleach trays, and any other devices your treatment may need. Mitch always looks forward to helping you sculpt the smile you want.

Lucy - Sterilization

Lucy joined our team in 2007 and is also bilingual. She is very busy behind the scenes sterilizing, stocking, and keeping up with our inventory so that our staff can provide you with the cleanest, safest equipment for your treatment. She loves assisting in our patients care.

Administrative Staff

Pam - Office Manager, Bookkeeper

Pam has now been our Office Manager since 2007. She is known as the "go-to" person in our practice. She is always available to answer any questions or assist you with your concerns. She brings a plethora of experience in management as well as bookkeeping. Do not hesitate to call her should you need any assistance or have questions regarding our practice.

Keri - Call Center

Keri came on board Woodhill Dental Specialties in 1985 and is known as the office "cheerleader"! She has been such an intricate part of our team for so long that she views the office and our patients as her second family. You will best know her as a friendly voice on the phone, who will assist you with scheduling, questions, and concerns. Keri also performs several behind the scenes duties.

Johanna - Call Center, Insurance and Financial Coordinator

Johanna is bilingual and has been our Financial Coordinator since 2004. She is not only one of the welcoming voices you will hear when you call our office, but she also manages all of our insurance, billing, orthodontics financial agreements, and payment plans. She looks forward to helping you choose a payment plan that will fit your individual needs. Additionally, she will work closely with you and your insurance company to obtain your maximum benefit under your plan.

Cheryl - Call Center

Cheryl is one of the responsive voices you will hear over our phone and has been with the practice since 1997. She helps provide our patient with scheduling needs, appointment reminders, questions and concerns. She always answers the phone with a smile and hopes it reflects in her voice.
